Questions

What is SpeakingCamps?

English speaking practice for adults. A short camp every day, live clubs every week, and voice feedback from your tutor on your recordings when something big is coming up: an interview, the CELPIP or IELTS test, a move.

How much does it cost?

A free account on Skool opens the speaking rooms, the Saturday Open Club, today's camp and Interview English. Membership opens everything else, with feedback from your tutor: $39 USD a month, or $19 a month if you join by October 31 (you keep that price while you stay). Cancel anytime. There's a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Who listens to my recordings?

A real person: your tutor. You get voice feedback within 48 hours, on a private page only you can open. Recordings aren't sent to any AI.

What's the difference between the free plan and membership?

The free plan is for practicing on your own and with people: today's camp, speaking rooms, the Saturday Open Club and Interview English. Membership adds every course, mock tests, voice feedback from your tutor, clubs by level and the evening clubs.

On the free plan, can I still send recordings to my tutor?

Yes. They're saved for your tutor and wait there. When you upgrade, she reviews them, so you don't need to record them again.

What level do I need?

Pre-Intermediate and up (A2 and above). Not sure? The check-in has a 60-second level check, and you can change your level any time.

Do I need my camera on in the clubs?

No, cameras are optional.

Where is my progress saved?

With a free account or membership, it's saved to your account by email, so it's on every device and comes with you when you upgrade. On the demo, it stays in this browser.

How do I upgrade?

On Skool: open the SpeakingCamps group and choose membership. Then sign in on the members' site with the same email, and your progress moves with you.

Is this the official CELPIP or IELTS?

No. The practice follows the real test format and timing, but SpeakingCamps isn't affiliated with Paragon (CELPIP) or with IELTS.
